  • Peel follows Dr. John's newly-released version of Willie Dixon's "Wang Dang Doodle" with Howlin' Wolf's original, recorded in 1960.
  • There are two successive tracks by singers named Burnette - a track from the debut album by Billy Burnette, followed by one from his more famous uncle, rockabilly singer Johnny Burnette.
  • Mu featured Jeff Cotton, formerly of Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band.

    • Only two tracks recorded for this session. "Virginia Plain" was transmitted, "If There Is Something" was not (a 12 minutes duration may have influenced this). The first verified broadcast date of the track is 22 September 1975.

  • Wishbone Ash #2 (repeat). First broadcast 25 April 1972. Recorded 1972-04-18.
