File 1

(JP: 'Hello again millions of fans, John Peel's Music On BFBS. Last week it was dysentery, this week it's Portuguese flu. Actually I'm not sure there's such a thing as Portuguese flu, but I like the sound of it. Don't like the feel of it very much. This is a new single from...')
(JP: 'The reason I've got a cold actually, not that you're particularly interested in this, but I had a haircut and cut off the ponytail that I'd affected. File 2

(JP: 'There are times, you know, when I think Link Wray should have just recorded Rumble and then disappeared without a trace.')
(JP: 'Am I the only person in the world who wishes that Bob Mould hadn't become yet another folk singer?')
