- Peel talks about his visit to Berlin over the weekend to attend the three-day Atonal Festival. In the end, he only spent a couple of hours there on the Saturday, having missed Psychic TV the previous evening (which he spent with friends in an Indian restaurant). Describes the festival itself as "horrendous", with music that was as "by and large awful".
- Peel mentions that he will be "knocking them dead" in Leicester the coming weekend. This was presumably the band's gig at Leicester University on the 10th of the month.[1]
