- Start of show: "Hello pals, look in for another John Peel's Music On BFBS. To start the programme this week, a record by Black Top and a singer who sounds, particularly in the latter stages of the record, rather like Captain Beefheart. This is called Mojo Kitty: it's a wonderful record, you'll like this, I promise you will."
- Plenty of detail about John's trip to Bristol Sound City, a band unhampered by any musical experience called Teenagers In Trouble who had just recorded an LP covering the entire Woodstock album, and John's abortive 101 Sharons and Rancid Cyril & His Mighty Balloons projects.
