- Tracklisting compiled with the help of Paul Bryant's Night Ride Playlists and Ken Garner's The Peel Sessions, which lists Ron Geesin and David Symonds as additional studio guests.
- The tracklisting is not in order of play, as an audio from the file below (according to the John Martyn fan site Big Muff[1], the only surviving track from the session) has Peel saying The River by John Martyn is the last session track on the show. Also worth pointing out that Martyn's debut session, like most JP Night Ride sessions, was never repeated on a Peel show - although, like other sessions recorded for him, it may have been rebroadcast a few weeks later on a Night Ride hosted by another presenter.
- The Fugs' track is the source of the "Out, Demons Out" chant popularised in the UK by the Edgar Broughton Band.
