Tracklisting[]

  • I notice that the single is Judy Teen is still number 7 in the charts, so the chances are we have lots of new listeners, and eh, hi there, it's certainly nice to have you along, and I'm not really as boring as people may have told you, my fingernails are clean, and I'm really quite lovable. So I'll hope you'll stay until 12 o'clock. I have a letter here, which says "Dear Peely, I collect singles like a man possessed. I'mm staggering home the other day with 100+ I found I got an item which will; be more valuable to you than me. It's a record called, The Toast of Merseyside, and it's football club eulogy to the tune of the Regents' Barbara-Ann". That is a record I don't have. And, eh, but ther's more to it than that. The man who wrote the letter, Julian of Maidstone, too cowardly to put his address, says it'll be in the post to you, if and when you play something by Cliff Bennett on the show. I'm not the sort of person who bows to that sort of pressure...
