- Unusual to have two sessions by the same artist (Bridget St John) on one show, but there are no Peel links on the recording (from mixtape J P D33) so why this happened is not known..
- Something of a Germany theme, with a (single track) session from krautrock legends Can and a track from one of Peel's top albums of 1973, by Tangerine Dream, whose latest session is coming soon.
- Also paired tracks by Richard & Linda Thompson and Fairport Convention, Richard Thompson's former band.
- Long time Peel faves Bridget St John and Robert Wyatt both feature, with session(s) and with Matching Mole, respectively.
- Tracklisting includes a favourite track from the Sunshine Superman LP by Donovan, much played by JP on the Perfumed Garden in 1967, as well as Chuck Berry's biggest UK hit single of the 1960s.
- Covers from Tragic Magic (Randy Newman) and Mick Ronson (Elvis Presley).

- And those were Can. And as before, we had the same problem with the band, as they weren't too sure what to call that particular piece, but we thought we'd spare you another half baked competition. And the session was actually produced by Tony "seeks groovy chick for sincere relationship" Wilson, and he was in a hurry to get off at the end of the session, so he said, 'come on let's think of a name for it', so they called it 'Tonny Wanna Go'
