  • Full tracklisting from the PasB of the BBC Written Archives Centre, which oddly only mentions two session tracks from Roy Harper. It could either be Peel didn't have time to play them or the PasB had missed some of the data. NB alternate tracklisting from Tim Joseph does have a third Roy Harper track
  • Show produced by Bernie Andrews.
  • Peel plays an early copy of Joni Mitchell's debut album, which was originally self titled because of an error at Reprise Records' publishing department. The album's name was later changed to Song To A Seagull.
  • He also plays a couple of blues cover versions; Chicken Shack do Freddie King's "San-Ho-Zay" and Canned Heat' "On The Road Again", which became a surprise hit single for the band. On the record label, rhe song is credited to Floyd Jones, along with Will Shade of the Memphis Jug Band
  • An unusual show in that it featured four session tracks which were never commercially released, and also two of these sessions were recorded on the same day in the same Maida Vale studio
