Tracklisting thanks to Tim Joseph, which includes Peel and Jon Curle's tracklistings on this link. (Now that Peel's show has been moved to earlier in the evening, Curle has a full two-hour Night Ride, but many of the tracks he plays wouldn't be out of place in JP's show).
The show has a session from Pink Floyd and an interview with Fairport Convention, as well as the first of three plays on episodes of "son of NR" of extracts from Krzysztof Penderecki's Dies Irae, a favourite with the show's listeners.
No guest poet this week, but a poem from the BBC Archives instead.
Tim notes that "Richard Neville doesn't show up again" - presumably Neville (the editor of Oz magazine, who had worked alongside Peel on the TV show How It Is) was due to appear on the show as a studio guest.
