  • Tracklisting below is from Volume 3 of the Decktician Logs. Many thanks to Decktician, Ken Garner for copying and additional information, and Rocker for acting as central HQ.
  • Two tracks from David Bowie’s latest album, Aladdin Sane.
  • Two vintage tracks by Peel favourite Earl Bostic, one of them a rock'n'roll version of Jacques Offenbach's "Barcarolle", from his opera The Tales Of Hoffmann. The other is a version of Ray Noble's jazz standard "Cherokee".
  • A session from visiting American singer-songwriter John Prine, including one of his best-known songs, "Angel From Montgomery". Prine's down-to-earth, country-influenced style and sardonic lyrics earned him credibility with 1970s rock critics, and he was also a favourite of Andy Kershaw.
  • Most obscure item in the listings is the title track from the only album by the duo Richmond, recorded in London with some well-known names from the UK jazz scene (Stan Sulzmann, Alan Skidmore, Jeff Clyne, John Marshall) among the backing musicians.
  • In The Peel Sessions, Ken has the final session track from Manfred Mann listed as ‘Get Your Socks Off’.
