- File 1 consists of the Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band session. Note - Electricity which also appears on this tape is from the original broadcast.
- Surprising to see Roger Miller in a Peel playlist. His version of Bobby Russell's "Little Green Apples" went on to become a UK hit, and the song was covered by many other artists, from Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby to Robbie Williams, but it's not typical Top Gear material. Nonetheless, Peel played it again on the following week's show.
