  • The Tav Falco's Panther Burns track is a cover of "Bourgeois Blues", a protest song made famous by Leadbelly in the late 1930s and credited on the album to him and folklorist Alan Lomax. According to Wikipedia[1], the authorship of the song is disputed, but it has been covered by artists such as Pete Seeger, Ry Cooder and Billy Bragg.
