Peel gave his "Record Of The Year" for 1975 and listed several others that "closely pursued" it in an article published originally in The Listener in the 1975-12-25/1976-01-01 edition of the magazine. It was reprinted in Olivetti Chronicles as "1975: Searching For Stars" (Bantam Press, hardback edition, p 175-9).
All the records are LPs. He played his favourite 1975 Top Thirty Singles of the year, finalising his top 15 on his 19 December 1975 show.
