- This recording has been circulating among pirate radio collectors, sometimes erroneously labelled 14 July 1967. However, the correct date is 20 July, as Peel follows on from the previous evening's show by featuring side two of The Incredible String Band's LP The 5000 Spirits or the Layers of the Onion. The four tracks from side two that are not featured on the available recording are "You Know What You Could Be", "My Name Is Death", "Gently Tender", and "Way Back In The 1960s".
- The sound quality is marred by a strong high-pitched medium wave whine - possibly interference from an East German radio station which used the same frequency as Radio London.
- After the two Beatles tracks which open the programme, a laid-back Peel promises his listeners "a lot of interesting things between now and 2 a.m.", but only around 50 minutes of the show survive on this recording.
- He becomes more exuberant as the show progresses and sings along in the studio with the Rolling Stones track, but with his microphone turned off, saying he has a terrible singing voice.
- John's Children's "Sara Crazy Child" was written by Marc Bolan but his voice is only audible for a couple of seconds, when the song fades out.
- While the filenames say the 19th July, this is probably due to a non-standard date naming protocol for shows that started at midnight. A new show which is clearly from the 18th (as in 0000 18th) has now appeared, this means that the two subsequent shows needed to be shunted forward a day.
