{K message to Peel Mailing List)
- The third night in March 96 - Wednesday 20th - that Peel sat in for Mark Radcliffe from 10pm-midnight. And this is a jolly one, with Lard and Mark Lamarr in the studio, and a good live session from Calvin Party. Has turned out a good recording too. Enjoy.
(Other)
- Liverpool have just beaten Leeds 3-0 in a replay of that season's FA Cup quarter-final, but Peel promises not to gloat as his brother in law is a Leeds fan.
- Convinces Lard he is indeed John Peel by failing to get the turntable working at the right time. Later, also plays the wrong side of the Golinski Brothers single by mistake.
