  • Show contains a run of six tracks of old-school Merseybeat, from Faron’s Flamingos to the Searchers,
  • There are also a couple of rock'n'roll covers - "Hound Dog" (Elvis Presley) in a session version by Jellybread, and "Tallahassee Lassie" (Freddy Cannon) by revivalist band The Flamin' Groovies - and plenty of folk and folk-rock, with sessions by Ralph McTell and the JSD Band, and records by Finbar and Eddie Furey (a Peel favourite at the time) and Richard Thompson.
