- Kid Jensen is in the studio tonight (at first) and is asked about his David Bowie interview. According to the NME, DB has been listening to r&b sax player Red Prysock, who is played here.
- After JP's recent Top Of The Pops appearance, one of his neighbour's children told him that they really enjoyed the bit where he turned around in the studio. Next record played is "Bottoming Out" by Lou Reed, followed by Wailing Souls' 'Don't Get Lost'.
- John Peel Roadshow gig the following evening at Esplanade, Hornsea, North Humberside, with the Vets. Peel claims he is planning to play lots of long records, like the Pete Shelley 12" aired here, so he doesn't have to work too hard for his money.
- Perhaps predictably, 'The Undertow' by session band March Violets is followed by a track from the current Undertones LP.
