- The name of The Nice's session track, Ars Longa Vita Brevis, is a Latin aphorism (translated from the Greek), attributed to Hippocrates and usually rendered as "Art is long, life is short"[1] It was also the title of their second LP, released later that year.
- Their other session tracks are all cover versions; Leonard Bernstein's "America" from West Side Story (with a quote from Dvorak's New World Symphony thrown in for good measure), Frank Zappa's "Theme From Lumpy Gravy" and their version of a track from the Zodiac: Cosmic Sounds LP, "Aries, The Fire Fighter".
- Early play for a future number one single - Mary Hopkin's "Those Were The Days", produced by Paul McCartney for the Beatles' new Apple label. As Wikipedia shows, the song had an interesting history before becoming a worldwide hit[2].
