- The vocals on the Michael Mantler track - from his album of music based on stories by Edward Gorey - were done by Robert Wyatt.
- Peel played a blues track by Willie Williams(2), from a compilation LP, but called the album mistakenly "Meat & Gravy From Cadillac Baby". This seems to be the overall title of a series of reissue LPs on Red Lightnin' Records and was taken from the LP sleeve - the phrase is at the top, while the real title is at the bottom. The same illustration appears on the covers of other albums in the series.
- Also played, according to John's intro, were Lee Perry, David Bowie & Waitresses
Sessions[]
- Vivian Stanshall #8, recorded 18th July 1978. No known commercial release.
