Tracklisting[]

(JP: 'When we caught Mr Fox, we caught them in a transitional stage and it's just Bob and Carole Pegg on this particular recording. The first number from them is Silly Billy')
(JP: 'Bob and Carole Pegg, Mr Fox there and that's called Silly Billy')
edit
(JP: 'Next one from Mr Fox is nothing to do with either condiments or Private Eye, but it is called HP Source, but it's spelt S-O-U-R-C-E and written by Bob Pegg and it goes like this')
(JP: 'And that's dedicated to Adrian Henri lurking voice some, certainly not amphibian and I can see he's an H.P. Lovecraft fan as well and if you haven't read H.P. Lovecraft stories, you really should, because they're very very eerie, very strange indeed, not just silly horror stories or even good horror stories because they're in a class of their own, whole world. Very believable too. Anyway that was Mr Fox and H.P. Source')
edit
(JP: 'Mr Fox and the title track of their current LP. This is Gypsy')
(JP: 'And that's Gypsy by Mr Fox and continuing in rustic vein, a track from Thin Lizzy from the Maxi single and this is Things Ain't Working Out Down At The Farm')
  • Thin Lizzy: Things Ain't Working Out Down At The Farm (7" - New Day) Decca (Not on File)
edit
  • Ron Geesin: Duet For One String Banjo And Water Cistern (session) (Not on File)
(JP: '... Duet For One String Banjo And Water Tank from Ron Geesin and its also the end of this week's Top Gear which featured Mr Fox, Brotherhood Of Breath and of course, Ron Geesin and the entire thing was produced by John Walters and that's the end of Top Gear on Saturday afternoons, which is sad because it's interesting sitting here trying to get the football results at the same time you're doing the programme, but it will be back on Wednesday October the 6th from 10 till 12 in the evening. We have a particular strong programme for you then with The Faces, Family and Wishbone Ash. Hope you listen to that and next up on Radio One, is Live At Five with Tony Blackburn and don't forget to listen to Johnny Moran's programme and who else's. Well I'm not quite sure, things are changing about so much, but look around, a lot of good things about and we finish with Brotherhood Of Breath and Union Special')
