(JP: 'Since I spoke to you last, Blur came and played in our garden for the second time [1] and were much more relaxed this time and easier to get on with. Not that they were that difficult the first time, but this time they actually seemed to be quite enjoying it. They chose some records for me to play on my programmes here in Britain, and I thought I'd stick some of them in this programme as well.')
(JP: 'What a great record that is too! A couple of weeks ago I said that Lexxus' "Ring Mi Cellie" was likely to be my favourite reggae record of the year: I'm no longer so sure.')
(JP: 'Excellent to hear that again too...I was just having a look inside the sleeve and sadly found a letter from Rob Gretton who was the band's manager, who died earlier this year.')
