35 Summers
35 Summers was an Indie Rock / Pop group formed in Liverpool, England in 1990 with David Pichilingi (vocals), Duncan Lomax (guitar), Robbie Fay (bass), Dave Upton (guitar), Andrew Starkey (drums), Jamie Southern (keyboards), Ian Greenwood (guitar), Andrew Hignett (drums), Alan Currie (drums).
35 Summers erupted from the Merseyside scene in the early 90's. Their John Peel session quickly secured a recording deal with BMG and released two singles in 1991.
However, scuppered by internal arguments, petty fraud (Christmas Hi-Fi's and "billy bonuses") and major management indiscretions (a Portuguese villa with Filipino manservant) 35 Summers broke up soon after, with a full length album being unreleased until 2003.
Links To Peel[]
The band recorded 2 sessions for John Peel during 1990-1991 which helped them secure a record deal with BMG / RCA and released 2 singles, "I Didn't Try" and "Really Down" which the DJ played on his show.
