Xol Dog 400 is a German hardcore techno music project of Christian Müller, who mostly releases gabber and terrorcore tracks. Founded in 1992 in Berlin, Germany as successor of the electronic body music act "Le Nokto Vezyn", Christian has released several CDs and vinyl recordings, as well as contributing many tracks on samplers such as the Terrordrome compilations. Muller also has several music side projects including Antizycle and was the co-founder of the Fuckparade, an annual summer technoparade in Berlin.
Links to Peel[]
Xol Dog 400 recorded a session for Peel's radio show in the mid 90's and was the only German act to play at the 1998 Meltdown Festival in London hosted by John Peel. On his 14 July 1998 show, Peel mentioned that his sons William and Tom were impressed with Xol Dog 400's performance at Meltdown, but thought the audience should have done more than standing and watching him perform. He went on to say that Xol Dog 400's real name was Christian and thought he was a nice bloke.
In Margrave Of The Marshes, Sheila thought Xol Dog 400's performance at Meltdown was one of the best and wildest gigs of the fortnight, and possibly the year. She described him as intimidating during the gig but when he breezed into the after-show party, he looked cheerful and ordinary, inviting William and Tom to stay with him in Berlin, and generally being more kindly lollipop man than rabid German techno DJ.
