The Arabs

The Arabs was the reggae backing band for Prince Far I's productions.

The players were mainly Fish Clarke on drums, Professor Larry on bass, Congo Ashanti Roy on guitar, Tony Asher on keyboards, Deadly Headley on horns, and sometimes other guests from various reggae groups.

Peel played tracks from Prince Far I and his backing group, the Arabs, some of whose members were also in Creation Rebel who accompanied Prince Far I for his only session for the show, as well as Roots Radics. The Arabs also released records under their own name, listed here.

The Cry Tuff Dub Encounter Chapter 1 album was re-released in 1994, but was credited under Prince Far I's name, which some tracks got played by Peel on his radio programmes.
