The Arcadian Serenaders, previously named Original Crescent City Jazzers, were a band of white musicians from New Orleans during the 1920s and took their name from the fact that they performed in the Arcadian Ballroom in St. Louis. Their 1924 recordings were the first to feature cornet player Wingy Manone.

The track 'Bob-Haired Bobby' made the Peelenium for 1924, but had already been featured on Peel's Pleasures 17 years before. On that occasion, he commented, "This next selection will cause particular merriment at Peel Acres, where the word Bobby has an especial significance not unconnected with the large bowel." In 2000, he also played a track by the ensemble under their previous name.
