John Peel Wiki

Changes to the look of John Peel Wiki will take place in the near future due to a new skin being rolled out over Oct/Nov across Wikia. Please see the Wikia Staff Blog for further details. On this site, the changes will affect the navigation from the left menu, as well as introduce a fixed page width with narrower content space. Please be patient while adjustments are made for the switch to the new system.

UPDATE: As the change is now in force for some users, I have switched the navigation to the simplified one for the new system. Please check Navigation in the Help section if you can't find things. I also initially made small adjustments to the front page layout, but have now reverted to the old look until all users are on the new system.

COUNTDOWN: Just a reminder for people still using Monaco that the final switch to the new skin is due on Nov. 3. After that, it will no longer be offered as an option. Sorry. Nothing to do with me.

Bob the builder

Bob The Builder is a British children's animated television show created by Keith Chapman, broadcast on the BBC between 1998 and 2012 and from 2015 on Channel Five. In the original series, Bob appears as a building contractor specialising in masonry in a stop motion animated programme with his colleague Wendy, various neighbours and friends, and their gang of anthropomorphised work-vehicles and equipment. The show is broadcast in many countries, but originates from the United Kingdom where Bob is voiced by English actor Neil Morrissey.

Peel narrates the trailer of Bob The Builder between 15:58 and 16:24 of the video.

In 2002, John Peel did the voiceover for the promo trailer of the Christmas edition of the show on BBC2:

"Hello John Peel here with news of a remarkable Christmas gig. Chris Evans on vocals, Noddy Holder on drums, Elton John on piano and Spud on the Christmas tree. With the first time on television, let alone the same stage, it's Bob The Builder's Christmas To Remember on Monday 23rd December at 3.45 on BBC1. I can't wait."
