Links to Peel[]
The band's debut 7″ single, N.C. Travel was first played by John Peel (BBC Radio1) on 22 June 2000. The Home Run single was played 21 March 2001 and their album Please Pull Apart was extensively played during October – December 2002. It was included on October 2002 (Peel's Record Box) recommended albums for the month and their Cheerleader track entered Peel’s 2002 Festive Fifty. Peel only played the first half of the track, which contained the breakbeat portion and leaving out the rest of the track, which was indie rock instrumentals, stating that the first part of the track was most probably the bit that people voted for.
