- (This page is about the Northern Ireland rock band. For the reggae artist of the same name, see Cobra).
Cobra were a Belfast, Northern Ireland, based Heavy Rock band, who somehow managed to get themselves lumped in with the NWOBHM genre of bands from around that time. They only ever released the one 7" on Rip Off Records (RIP3) back in 1978. Although the label recycled the tracks on the 'Belfast Rocks' compilation album from the same year. The band consisted of Vocals - Nigel Boyd, Guitar - Keith Sewel, Guitar - Glenn Crawford, Bass - Mickey Thompson and Drums - Nigel Hamilton.
