- (This page is about the American band. For the punk band of the same name, see Crabs. For the Norwich band of the same name, see Crabs(2))

The Crabs were a Portland, Oregon-based indie-rock band. Originally formed as a duo with Jonn Lunsford (vocals, guitar) and Lisa Jackson (vocals, drums), the pair later added keyboardist Sarah Dougher following their 1997 release What Were Flames Now Smolder. After a pair of EPs, Dreamboat and Sore, issued on the Knw-Yr-Own label (owned by Lunsford's brother Bret, himself a founding member of Beat Happening as well as the frontman of D+), the Crabs signed to K Records to issue their 1995 LP, Jackpot. Brainwashed followed a year later.
