DJ Eastwood is a British DJ/Producer from North West London, who started working in the grime scene. During the last few years, DJ Eastwood has been using his time hosting, producing and working hard on fine tuning, finessing his sound. DJ Eastwood more recently found his niche within the Afro House scene, specialising and bringing a fresh, new unique sound.

Peel first started playing DJ Eastwood's material in April 2004 via the 'Elastik' track. He would play further tracks from the DJ and in junction with BBC Radio 1Xtra, had him do a live session mix with other grime MC's on his show, under the name of DJ Eastwood & Friends, in May 2004. His tracks, 'Regime' and 'Tooth Ache', were one of Peel's records of the month for May 2004 (Peel's Record Box) and July 2004 (Peel's Record Box) respectively.
