Econoline was a British alternative rock band consisting originally of:
- Steve Morris (Bass)
- Ian Scanlon (Guitar, Vocals)
- Tom Emmerling (Drums)
- Rowan Hunn (Guitar)
The band released a couple of albums and several singles in the 2000's.

Peel first played Econoline on his show in June 2001 via their 'Breakfast Of Champions' single. He would play further tracks from the group on his shows, including a session they recorded for his programme in November 2002.
