Electric Music was an indie rock band based in London and founded by Scottish Dundee musicians Tom Doyle and Anth Brown. The group changed their name Electric Music AKA, after the threat of legal action from former Kraftwerk man, Karl Bartos, who had a group called Elektric Music. The duo released a couple of albums in the early 00's and several singles between 1999 and 2002 on ZubiZaretta and Sanctuary record labels.
Links to Peel[]
Peel first played the group's material in 1999 and would play further material from them in 2000 when they recorded a session for his programme. After 2000, Peel seemed to have lost interest in their music.
