D.O.S.E. was the alias name of Manchester based music producer, Simon Spencer (born c. 1968 or 1969), who collaborated with Mark E. Smith of The Fall in the 90's.
The Fall made the track, Spencer Must Die, named after the producer for their 1997 Levitate album. Simon Spencer later joined with another producer, Keir Stewart under the collaboration of Inch, where they also worked with The Fall singer in 1999.
Tragically Simon Spencer died in 2003 after inhaling his own vomit at the Glastonbury Festival.
