Links to Peel[]
According to Ken Garner's The Peel Sessions, Gasworks didn't have much success at BBC audtions, failing two of them, with one panel member describing their efforts as "a saddening waste of time". Despite this, the band did two sessions for his shows between 1969 and 1973.
Peel was also present at the (Beckenham Arts Lab) free concert on 16th August 1969, where Gas Works also performed.
