- Here's what I have of John's appearance as God Of The Week on Simon Mayo's show on 25/1/96. John appeared in separate 'slots' throughout the show and I'm fairly certain that I missed some earlier slot(s). I've left in two songs; One by Leftfield (because I've got the album, but this sounds like a different version), and one by a little-known Irish group called the Undertones. Apologies for the poor quality.

- Peel was on the Simon Mayo show the day after the broadcast of his appearance on This Is Your Life.
- In the first section he discusses his early career, including Perfumed Garden. Second section moves on to punk; then Peel answers a series of questions on "religious" matters.
