Half Pint (born 11 November 1961), and sometimes credited Lindon Andrew Roberts, is a Jamaican dancehall, ragga, and reggae singer. He originates from the West Kingston enclave of Rose Lane; a community which has produced reggae acts such as Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Peter Tosh, Lee "Scratch" Perry, and Toots Hibbert.
Links to Peel[]
Peel seemed to have first played Half Pint's records in 1984 and would play further material from the singer until the early 90's. Half Pint's Money Man Skank was chosen by Peel as one of his tracks for the Peelenium 1984, which was broadcast on his 14th December 1999 show. In the 00's, Peel didn't play any of Half Pint's material, whether old or new. After Peel's death in 2004, it was later found out he had the first three albums of the artist in his Record Collection: H.
