Impulse Manslaughter was an American band active between the 80's and early 90's from Chicago. They formed in 1984 and were disbanded in 1993. The band's sound could be described as a mix of crusty punk and metal. Vocalist Karl Patton remained the only constant member through out the band's lifetime, although bassist Vince Vogel joined in 1988 and stayed until the end.
Links to Peel[]
Peel seemed to have discovered the band in the spring of 1987 and would play tracks from the group on his radio programmes in the late 80's. After Peel's death in 2004, it was later found out that he had two of their albums ('He Who Laughs Last...Laughs Alone' and 'Logical End') in his Record Collection: I.
