The Harry Stoneham Sound were the type of easy-listening group who were session regulars on Radio Two. As BBC Genome shows[1], Stoneham had a long career at the BBC, from 1966 to 1991. He later became musical director on TV talk shows such as those of Michael Parkinson, Bob Monkhouse and Joan Rivers)
