Jugala Orchestra (sometimes known as the Jugala Group) was an Indonesian Sundanese group from the island of Java, Indonesia founded by Gugum Gumbira in the early 70's, who formed a group consisting of Euis Komariah and musicians playing the bonang (a large set of pot shaped gongs) and other instruments from the gamelan music genre. Gugum married his singer Euis Komariah and released his first material in 1976 on his own Jugala label.

Peel was enchanted with the voice of Euis Komariah with the Jugala Orchestra and played a track from them on his 30 April 1990 programme from their release on the Globe Style label. It is not known currently from the available playlists on the Peel wikia site whether he played any other materials from them.
