Lift to Experience were an alternative rock band from Denton, Texas. Formed in 1996, the band's lineup consisted of Josh T. Pearson (vocals, guitar), Andy Young (drums), and Josh Browning (bass).[1]

Lift to Experience released just one full-length album, 2001's The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads - a double-album concept record combining shoegaze guitar effects with a grandiose lyrical theme incorporating biblical end times eschatology, with the notion of Texas as the Promised Land.

The band dissolved soon after their debut was released, with band members going their separate ways and on to new projects. In between long bouts spent in obscurity, Pearson would intermittently tour as a solo artist, releasing two solo albums: 2011's Last of the Country Gentlemen, and 2018's The Straight Hits!.

Lift to Experience reformed in 2016 in support of the remastered and re-mixed Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads.[2]
