  • I think I'll leave these to you to flesh out as it's (thinks how to put this) your era of special interest! (if that's OK)

    • Thanks - well....1967-73 was the period when I was a keen listener tto Peel (and whatever else I could find on the MW band) record-buyer and consumer of underground papers, etc....Just hope I have time enough to listen to them all.....

  • I've attached the copies of the PasB of Night Ride from 19 February 1969 on this message wall. It's not perfectly clear, but you can work out the artist and song titles from them. As you may notice the PasB just only mentions Paul Clayton's name and track. For some odd reason, it doesn't name the source of the recording.

    • Many thanks! So, for the Paul Clayton track, all we know is the number of the LP  in the BBC Library lisitngs.

Interesting though that the Jean Ritchie track is from a recording by thr Voice Of America radio network, and the Small Faces track is form the soundtrack of the film Dateline Diamonds, a 1965 B-movie shot partly on board the pirate ship Radio London and with appearances by Kenny Everett and other Big L DJs. Occasionally it's shown on Talking Pictures TV but I haven't seen it yet.

More info to add to the page, as if we don't have enough already!

    • Thanks, I just realised I had forgotten to add the Small Faces track onto the 16 February 1969 tracklisting. I'll do that straight away !! UPDATE: I've now added it. Here is a clip from that movie featuring the Small Daces
