Mufflon 5 was a four piece alternative rock band from Gothenburg, Sweden, consisting of:
- Daniel Mannheimer (drums)
- Fabian Edmar (guitar)
- Karl Mogren (vocals, guitar)
- Lars Johansson (bass)
Signed to the Swedish indie label, A West Side Fabrication, the band released three full-length albums between 1993 and 1996. 1994 Mufflon 5 recorded a John Peel Session for BBC and had music videos played on MTV's legendary alternative music show '120 Minutes'.

Peel first heard the band when he was in Sweden, as part of Euro Action, where he broadcast his John Peel In Scandinavia and his 15 October 1993 show there. He played tracks from the group on his shows between 1993 and 1995. The band's session was recorded for his programme in Sweden in 1994.
