Peel mentions coming back from a tour in the Far East, including Hong Kong, China and Japan. Whilst in Japan, Peel mentions spending most of the time in Tokyo, but did go for a one day visit to Nikko to see the temples. He goes on to say that Japan is an extraordinary place, the longer you are there, the weirder it gets and would love to go back there again.
Peel plays a couple of records from Japan, including Junk Schizo and the D.R.Y. Project, which he bought when he was in that country.
Peel mentions having a mail of 173 LP's, 91 twelve inch singles and 179 seven inch singles, since coming back from the Far East and the best of it he's heard so far is from Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, which he plays a track from.
Peel mentions the catalogue number for the Stump record is STUF/U2, which he says is long overdue, in reference to the Irish rock band, U2, who he dislikes.
