Tracklisting[]

16 December 1989 (BFBS)

(JP: 'I was thinking you know as that was playing how interesting it is that the little snobberies that one is guilty of, however hard you try not to be, I would never have played the original of that, by Gary Glitter, because it would have been dead uncool, but it's alright to play it by the Undertones....Odd that, really. I should be ashamed of meself.')
(JP: 'I think I'd find that preferable to being stuck in a lift with Jimmy Tarbuck: that I really couldn't cope with, to be honest. I'd ritually disembowel meself all over him. Funnily enough, somebody sent me a video, something like The Kenny Dalglish Story, and he's in that! (with strong Scouse accent) Tarby talking...oh, horrible.')

23 December 1989 (BFBS)

(JP: 'Deck the halls with boughs of holly, tra la la la la la la la la. It's John Peel's Music On BFBS. Hey, what's this, big boy?')
(JP: 'Well I think as soon as they can get rid of the Wordsworthian influences in their lyrics, they'll be an important band. That's Genital Deformities from the West Midlands: I mean, they couldn't possibly frankly come from anywhere else but the West Midlands, really.')
