Links to Peel[]
Peel was very fond of Peter Frampton's material in the 70's and had kept interest in the singer since the days he was in the Herd and Humble Pie. Frampton's track, 'Show Me The Way', was included in Peel's favourite 1975 Top Thirty Singles, where he placed the song at number 9 on his 19 December 1975 show. After the song was played, he described liking the guitar playing on that so much that he wished he ranked the song higher. After the rise of punk in the late 70's, Peel rarely played any material from Peter Frampton.
