Polak was a British indie rock band formed in May 1996 in Brighton, England on the ashes of Adorable by Piotr Fijalkowski (now Pete Fijalkowski).
Members included:
- Pete Fijalkowski (vocals, programming, guitar, 1996-end)
- Krzys Fijalkowski (guitar, 1996-2003)
- Bob Brown (bass, guitar, 1997-end)
- Chris Parsons (drums, 1997-end)
- Simon Dunford (keyboards, 1997-99)
- Matthew Sigley (keyboards, 1999-2001)
- Richard Brincklow (keyboards, 2001-2002)
After the album release of Rubbernecking, they were offered a third album by One Little Indian but by that time they were down to a three piece (Chris, Bob and Pete) and everyone was so up to their eyeballs in debt that there was no chance they’d be able to promote the album at all, so they decided to call it a day. They had recorded a couple of tracks with Bob on guitar.
