Pop Quest was a music programme, consisting of a quiz show where children try to answer questions on Pop music, produced by Yorkshire television, that was broadcast on ITV between 1975 and 1979. The TV series was presented by several DJ's including Kid Jensen, Keith Skues, Anne Nightingale, Mike Read and many others.

John Peel Record Collection
Pop Quest introduced a new section called Feed Back in 1978, which looked behind the music scene on topics such as electric guitar and record collection.
Peel appeared in an episode of Pop Quest in the Feed Back section, where he talked to Mike Read about his record collection. Three records from 1977 were briefly played, chosen by Peel, which consisted of:
- Lurkers: Love Story
- Rezillos: I Can't Stand My Baby
- Sex Pistols: Holidays In The Sun
