Rosco was an English alternative rock band from Bildeston, near Stowmarket in Suffolk comprising of vocalist Erica and four other members. They were named after BBC Radio One DJ, Emperor Rosko and there is very little information about the group, except for a local Buckinghamshire website in May 2003 reviewing it seems the group's only record and mentioning that they are going to perform at the White Horse in High Wycombe [1]. The website mentions that their influences stretch from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, to the Strokes and the Hives. The band were so obscure that their name and only record is not currently listed on the Discogs website.

Peel had a copy of the band's Capital Star single and played it couple of times on his programmes. He nominated their single as one of his records for July 2002 (Peel's Record Box).
