Suntory Sound Market was a Japanese show on the Tokyo FM syndicate, broadcast between 1982 and 1992. The programme was broadcast between Monday to Friday at 22:00-22:55pm. In addition, FM Osaka had a preliminary broadcast on Friday only from 21:00 to 21:55. This was due to the broadcast of "Hankyu Hour Screen Graffiti" from 22:00-23:25. The programme had been running for a long time, but in 1989, the show became "Hankyu Screen Network" and at the same time the programme went from 20:30 to 21:55.

Peel recorded a programme at his home for Tokyo FM on a show called Suntory Sound Market. The show was broadcast on 19th January 1987, where Peel choose 11 Japanese records that he bought in Japan, whilst he was there in late 1986.
