- A cassette compilation from the collection of Peel Group member mr_maudlin, recorded from the BBC Radio 1 John Peel show but with no DJ links. Sorry.
- The show was recorded on Hi-Fi VHS then edited to cassette from a good FM signal. The inlay card has the edit dates as: track 1-4 10Nov91; 5-11 3Dec91; 12-15 18Feb92; 16-23 27Feb92; 24 1Mar92. The edits were usually done within a couple of weeks of broadcast.
- The Kimble cover version by The Fall has to be the standout track on this tape, but I also loved the downbeat vocals of Barbel and the fresh faced pop of Even As We Speak. And the first sessions by Stereolab and PJ Harvey were also wonderful.
